Tiny track suggestions
« on: January 04, 2017, 07:57:57 PM »
Hello, and Happy new Year everyone!

Forgive the erratic nature of this post, as I am typing as I think.
While looking at the little tin my Pi Zero arrived in I've just thought "wouldn't it be great to turn it (or a similar sized tin) into a tiny little tracked robot?
I have a Wemos D1 mini, complete with battery shield and micro SD card shield, whigh I could use to power and run this; the Wemos would serve a simple Web based guide for controlling, html pages could be saved on the sd card etc.

My initial thoughts would be to modify two 9g servos for continuous motion, and use something to create some little tracks for it.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how best to create some really simple tracks for such a thing?

Cheers!

Craig

You ever see this? 9g servos and some type of wrist band for tracks. I actually bought the bands, printed the platform but never converted any servos. I hate converting 9g's and I hate paying for those already done.

Just an idea
