Title: 2D Side Scroller Cyberpunk themed

I have started making a 2D Side Scroller game Cyberpunk themed.
The character, walls, ceiling and ladder are from the Warped City tileset (https://ansimuz.itch.io/warped-city).
The brick background wall is a darker version from a tutorial I have found (https://www.deviantart.com/makestuffhapen/art/Brick-wall-tutorial-334697091).

The hexagonal tiles, the door, cabinet, desk (with computer on top), bed and window are my own.

Differences between v1 and v2:
* changed background wall from bricks to hexagonal tiles
* changed door design
* changed locker design

I have been collecting ideas:
* add a male character too (to go along with the female one I have so far)
* change the background so it's mainly brick with smaller hex patches

v3

changes:
* added some shadows to the locker
* added more details to the door
* changed the wall back to the first design with patches of smaller hexes (sort of quick fixes to a damaged wall)

v4
(https://i.imgur.com/XFR89mG.png)

changes:
* added more details to the locker
* changed the floor, side walls and ceiling to solid black (after all it's a vertical cutout of a building)
* changed the ladder to a more silvery color and made it wider

v5

changes:
* fixed the ladder that was wrongly in front of the 2nd story floor

Cool game. I wanted to make one since I started using computers.

Got distracted by many other topics, such as learning to handle computer graphics, and now robotics.

Today there is so much competition that the motivation is low, but it would still be fun to maybe make a small game that gets a bit of attention.
I thought of an adventure game with story etc. Making all the art would be a challenge, though.

Yours certainly looks cool! Is there anything playable?
Any strategy to make it fun to play (e.g., how do you plan to make the level design)?

It's never too late to start.

There is nothing more that these screenshots for now and one old layout for me to try out jump and object detection.

v6

changes:
* I thought about the proportion of the room in height compared to the character and then gave the room some more vertical space.
* doing that I thought of changing the round window and making it bigger (not too much - not yet done) and gave the room more horizontal space too.
* also added some more cabinets for extra storage space.

v7
(https://i.imgur.com/isXOkg9.png)

changes:
* increased the window size.
* made the bed a little smaller (so that it fits exactly in 64px - I cut only 2px - don't know why I made it that big to start with) and moved it closer to the window so I have space.
* made the door a bit taller (before it was 56px tall, now it's 64px) so that the character doesn't bump her head getting out of the room.
* started making the shape of the new object (a version of it was in Flynn's Arcade).

Sweet, KA!  How is that delivered?  Browser, or is it OS specific or something?  I like the theme!

Right now that's all I have: graphics.
And a level (sort of) that the character can go left - right and detect the interactable items.
I don't think that a browser build would be out of the question. Could be uploaded on itch.io (once it's ready).
Could also have a Windows, Linux and Android versions too (I don't have a Mac that I think is required for building a Mac / iOS version)

Also the other day I was thinking of changing it to be in isometric perspective (but don't know yet).

BTW if someone wants to contribute just send me a message.
