Hello Rebels!

I use CAD at work all day and recently a new drafter was talking about getting a custom macro pad called a streamdeck. The thing is basically a tablet with buttons on top so you can change the button icons to anything based on the application. While that looks cool and all, I encouraged him to try his hand at building his own macro pad with an arduino. As it turned out, he was not super interested in it, but at that point I already started working on one myself.  ;D

I found a 4x5 keypad on ebay that came with a plate, switches, and clear keycaps to make your own symbols. I used a pro micro, rainbow wire, small signal diodes & brass wire to make the matrix. I found the keypad after seeing one on Thingiverse HERE (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1735255). I used the code from that author and it worked well, you can find it HERE (https://github.com/nariox/4x4arduinokeyboard).
