And another one.
« on: September 27, 2015, 06:08:35 PM »
Yep, I've jumped ship as well.  Not so much the T&C at LMR upsetting me as all the life seems to have gone out of it, so I've come over to the Dark Side.
A quick resume : Started in electronics many years ago and was working in hardware design and test software on what was pretty advanced technology at the time.  Tried management - Hated it.  Couple of bouts of redundancy and drifted into I.T / network support and just chugging along at the moment.
The more I see on the maker sites, the more I realise how far I've got behind with the technology, so don't expect to see any bleeding-edge projects from me, but I hope to build a couple of interesting robots in the not too distant future.
At least that's the plan, but like many, I have lots of good ideas, put a few things together, test a few things out, but never get to the stage of putting it all together in a finished form.  Hopefully a new start on a new site will help me get over my "makers' block".

Necessity is the mother of many strange bastards.

Glad to see you here AndyGadget. You are always making something interesting, from whistles to 'boots'. Welcome.

Das Wichtigste, was ich verstehe, ist, dass diese Website eine sehr kenntnisreiche Website ist, in der sehr viel Informationen ausgetauscht werden kann.
