goodbye Gordon McComb, his  Robot Builder's Bonanza book was my first robot book and the inspiration for my first builds.

Gordon McComb, a real gentleman and the author of "Robot Builder's Bonanza", passed away last week. Often called "the father of hobby robotics", his numerous books and articles have been read by and inspired thousands of people.

Hello! I'm here to mainly to discuss delta robots.

About me: in February of 2016 I bought from Sintron on eBay a Kossel Mini kit. It was a lot of fun to assemble and use, and of course there were also plenty of frustrations! Recently I partially disassembled it and put it in a box. But then: there were regrets.... So I bought a ready-to-print da Vinci Jr from XYZprinting. No assembly required! But of course there are frustrations with it too!  ;-) The main frustration? It's not a delta robot!!

<just because I have lately been in love with go-lang>
Gobot.io yuss

TH from the black sea side  >:D

This looks like an interesting approach. Especially with so many platforms and options.

Mainly I like the MQTT possiblilities for integration with my HASSIO home automation setup.

If only there more time...

What is the update period and how do you recommend the source of the data?

Okay, late to the party, but controlling a robot with NodeJS feels a little like getting a call from the boss on the weekend.  I’m not surprised it was you that you made it work though. You’re Always full of resourceful surprises. Nice work Lad-good to hear from you last week!

What software would you recommend for remote controlling a robotic vehicle via a web interface with a raspberry pi (web interface + camera stream) + arduino (hardware control)? I've tried/done this a couple of times but never found a decent solution.

Really nice to somebody building something that is not a 3D printer  :) (not that I have anything against 3D printers).
Am midly offended with that statement >:D..... but I know what you mean, I look forward to seein your next bot. happy building
I teased these botheads about the same thing back before our Canadian conquerers kicked us out of our old sandbox. They don’t mind.  Now If you really want to get them going, just post a long essay about how Makerbot is the ultimate tool, why would anybody make their own, etc...

As always, exemplary work G!
