Eclipse 2017

Here's some of the picture's that I got from the eclipse today. The ole telescope did a good job for us as you can see solar flares, sun spots, etc. Stupid google shuffled the name order on these, but otherwise they are pretty good pictures. Hope you like them!

Pictures taken via a Samsung S6 at 48x magnification thru a 10in Dobsonian telescope with glass solar filter.

I took all the pictures (in the correct order) and made a slide show video. I was hoping that I might have caught a glimpse of the ISS as Nasa's pictures showed that it passed our field of view during the time when our time lapse images were taken. But unfortunately we didn't get any of it.

Would have been worth a journey to USA even if Trump is there.
