Spammers

Anyone have a good plan for dealing with spammers?

Reporting them to the federal trade commission does nothing.

I have several email addresses, and one of them is getting strange text to emails from a cell phone. I also tried the federal trade method to block them. But it does nothing. I will likely just delete the account. But I figured I would ask around before doing so, as I've had that account for a number of years.

Maybe you have some kind of "Antispam" functionality for this account?
Perhaps in the webmail version of it?
I  have this in the webmail version and within Linux with "spamassassin":
http://spamassassin.apache.org/

Works quite well under Linux.
I do not know if the Windows versions like
http://www.jam-software.de/exchange_server_toolbox/spamassassin_exchange_server.shtml?pk_campaign=AdWords&pk_kwd=ExServTool_SpamAssassin_DE
are ok.
