Hello Robot Rebels
« on: April 29, 2016, 06:18:56 AM »
Hello Robot Rebels.
I’m “1 what”, a late 60’s Australian male who was originally an electrical engineer then went into medicine then neuroscience. I was away from engineering for about 30 years but then decided to teach myself about microprocessors (everybody needs a hobby).
I wanted some practical application to test my knowledge (and very basic programming skills) and robots seemed ideal. I found another site and hung out there for a couple of years then left following a change of management. I’ve been in cyber wilderness since then but recently found this site with familiar faces, interesting posts and a good “feel”. To those of you I know “Hello” and I’m looking forward to getting to know the rest of you.
My major problem is very limited time so I’m afraid I do more lurking than contributing but due to my age I’m going to have more time in the next 12 months.

I'm also glad you've found us.

I've barely even been lurking lately but I hope to find some time soon to get back to building robots.

Welcome.
